MHIF SPECILISTS WERE TRAINED TO EVALUATE THE WORK OF HOSPITALS AGAINST SCORECARD

March 25-27, 2015 at the Republican Scientific Medical Library a workshop was held for specialists of republican and territorial departments of Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, organized by Secretariat of the project of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic “Health Results-Based Financing” (RBF) on the specifics of assessing quality of health care organizations using a Scorecard. This card includes several performance indicators of hospitals, including patient satisfaction, staff training, hygiene and infection control, medical waste management, surgery, emergency care, neonatal care, and others.

Klara Oskombaeva Director of RBF project noted that in general, hospitals participating in RBF project, in the fourth quarter of last year improved their performance by 40%. Comparing with the previous quarter, the growth rate is 1.4. By Scorecard more than 500 points Balykchy, Kochkor, Moscow, Kara-Suu, Aravan hospitals and GPC Jeti-Oguz, GPC Mirza-Aka took. GPCs Suusamyr, Jany-Jer and Samarkandek showed good results and growth rates.
